【 Testing purpose 】
Cholyglycine (CG) is one of the conjugated cholic acids formed by the combination of cholic acid and glycine. Glycocholic acid is the most important bile acid component in serum during late pregnancy. When liver cells were damaged, the uptake of CG by liver cells decreased, resulting in the increase of CG content in blood. In cholestasis, the excretion of cholic acid by the liver is impaired, and the content of CG returned to the blood circulation is increased, which also increases the content of CG in the blood.

【 Detection principle 】
This product is used to quantitatively detect the content of glycocholic acid (CG) in the blood of dogs/cats by fluorescence immunochromatography. The basic principle is that the nitrocellulose membrane is marked with T and C lines, and the T line is coated with antigen a, which specifically recognizes the antibody. a fluorescent nanomaterial-labeled antibody b that can specifically recognize antigen A is sprayed on the binding pad. The antibody in the sample binds to the nanomaterial-labeled antibody b to form a complex, which then flows upward. The more antigen in the sample bound by the complex, the less fluorescent antibody will bind to the T-line. The intensity of this signal is inversely proportional to the antigen concentration in the sample.
