Feline herpesvirus-1, FHV-1 belongs to the family Herpesviridae, subfamily Alphaherpesvirus. It is one of the main pathogens of upper respiratory tract infection in cats, mainly through direct contact, such as transmission through respiratory droplets or contact with the eyes, nose or oral secretions of infected cats. Respiratory symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, coughing and eye inflammation will occur. Therefore, reliable and effective detection plays a positive guiding role in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
This product uses fluorescent immunochromatography to quantitatively detect the FHV content in cat eye, nose and mouth secretions. Basic principle: T and C lines are drawn on the nitrocellulose membrane, and the T line is coated with antibody a that specifically recognizes FHV antigens. The conjugate pad is sprayed with another fluorescent nanomaterial-labeled antibody b that can specifically recognize FHV. The FHV in the sample first binds to the antibody b labeled with the nanomaterial to form a complex, and then chromatographs upward. The complex binds to the T line antibody a to form a sandwich structure. When the excitation light is irradiated, the nanomaterial emits a fluorescent signal, and the strength of the signal is positively correlated with the FHV concentration in the sample.
