【 Testing purpose 】
Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) is a retrovirus that is widespread in the world. Cats infected with the virus have a greatly increased risk of lymphoma and other tumours; The virus can cause coagulation abnormalities or other blood disorders such as regenerative/non-regenerative anemia; It can also lead to the collapse of the immune system, leading to hemolytic anemia, glomerulonephritis, and other diseases. Feline HIV is a disease caused by feline AIDS. In terms of structure and nucleotide sequence, it is related to the HIV virus that causes AIDS in humans. It also often produces clinical symptoms of immunodeficiency similar to human AIDS, but HIV in cats is not transmitted to humans. Therefore, reliable and effective detection plays a positive guiding role in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
【 Detection principle 】
Products were quantified for FeLV/FIV in cat serum/plasma using fluorescence immunochromatography. Rationale: The nitrocellulose membrane is marked with T and C lines, respectively, and the T line is marked with antibody A, which specifically recognizes FeLV/FIV antigens. The binding pad was sprayed with anti-B labeled with another fluorescent nanomaterial capable of specifically recognizing FeLV/FIV. FeLV/FIV in the sample first binds to the nanomaterial labeled antibody B to form a complex and then to the upper layer
The composite combined with T-line antibody a to form a sandwich structure. When illuminated by excitation light, the nanocomposites emitted a fluorescence signal, and the signal intensity was positively correlated with the FeLV/FIV concentration in the sample.
